Rainy weather injures key player.

It was a rainy day in Miami, which led to TOs, dropped passes, and a big injury. The Patriots, led by rookie QB Blain Gabbert, seemed at home in Miami. Gabbert threw for 336 going 20 for 32, his O-line standing stellar only allowing 2 sacks to a heavy pass rush(although he did throw 2nd avoidable picks one to RE Mike Devito, another a 55yd pick 6 for Leigh Bodden). Peyton Hillis rushed for 64 yds most in the 2nd half chewing clock and taking advantage of slippery feet taking in another 65 on 3 recs including a crucial screen leading to a NE TD. The Dolphins struggled offensively, QB Alex Smith threw for 198 yds 1 TD and 2 picks in a sub par showing. With less then 2 minutes left in the 4th Smith hit Roscoe Parrish in the slot for a 96 yd td showing he still has the legs to burn a safety once in awhile. The Pats immediately responded on the next drive hitting Ted Ginn on a Deep Slant allowing Ginn to jog 77 yds into the endzone. The Arian Foster-Vonta Leech reunion was lesser the spectacular only rushing for 25 yds on 14 attempts. The highlight of Fosters game have have been on his longest run(a 12 yder up the middle) trying to plow through FS Micheal Griffin ended up breaking his collarbone. After the game Patroit HQs says he will miss the next 7 weeks. With NEs front 7 looking tough, despite speculation, this blow to their pristine secondary might leave room for more big plays from player with a little more talent then Parrish this season.
